FAQs ๐ค
Because we know youโll ask (and we love that, but this might save you some time)
Who's joining? Will I be welcome?
If you’re reading this, the likely answer is, yes, absolutely.
The Marketing Meetup community is made up, most typically, of humans who happen to work in marketing.
Rather than seniority, the thing that unites our community is a curiosity for continued learning, and a shared ethos of valuing one another.
The thing we value the most is how you show up for others in the community – so even if you don’t think of yourself as a marketer, you are welcome so long as you embody the spirit of being positively lovely.
Howโs this different from the Whatsapp groups?
This space is easier to navigate, quieter, and more focused on the good stuff: sharing ideas, asking questions, learning from each other.
Is it free?
Yep! No hidden costs. Just community, connection, and kindness ๐
Can I post whenever I like?
You can! But we also host fun moments like Selfie Wednesdays and post-webinar chats to help you get involved.
Will it replace the irl events and webinars?
Nope, definitely not. Itโs the thing that connects everything together. A space to keep the irl and webinar energy flowing and keep that community spirit buzzing.
Iโm not very active online, is that okay?
Totally fine. You can pop in, scroll quietly, react with an emoji, or post whenever you feel like it. No pressure, no performance.
What sort of stuff do folks post?
Everything from โDoes anyone know a great email tool?โ to โHereโs a recent win Iโm proud of.โ Questions, links, pet pics, itโs a real mix.
Is this space just for marketers?
Kind of. Most folks here work in or around marketing, but itโs really for anyone curious, creative, and kind. If you like learning with lovely humans, youโll fit right in.
Is there a code of conduct?
There certainly is. Find it here. This is important.
