If you would like to learn from the greatest marketers in the world or meet your fellow marketing people in a kind environment – TMM is for you.
Every event we run puts listening, saying hello, and being positively lovely at its core.
The result is a place where you feel part of the community – rather than having an event happen around you, but not with you.
We run a schedule of events and webinars for marketers that hopefully put a smile on your face and new thoughts in your head.

More about The Marketing Meetup events
We run around 211 events every year for marketers, made up of around 160 in-person events (globally), 50 online webinars and an annual conference.
The first TMM event was in Cambridge, UK, and run because we wanted somewhere to continue learning about marketing, meet our fellow professionals – and do it in an environment that prioritises kindness and making folks feel comfortable. Ten years on – TMM now runs events on six continents, but the spirit remains the same.
At every TMM event you’ll hear three important things reinforced: listen, say hello, and be positively lovely. We know these environments can be both exciting but also make some people uncomfortable. So, no matter who you are: from someone on their first day in marketing through the CMO of the world’s biggest organisations – you are welcome through the (virtual or physical) doors and we’ll do our best to make you feel comfortable.
Our online webinars are free to attend, and the majority of our IRL events are ‘pay what you can’. If you’re interested in finding out what’s coming up – head to the table above, or keep scrolling for FAQs and more.

FAQs about The Marketing Meetup Events
Who are The Marketing Meetup events for?
Our events are for anyone working in, studying, or curious about marketing. That includes marketers at all levels – from career-switchers to Heads of Marketing and CMOs. If you like learning, sharing ideas, and meeting friendly people, you’ll fit right in.
How much does it cost to attend The Marketing Meetup events?
Our regular online webinars are free to attend. Our local meetups most frequently operate a ‘pay what you can’ model (with no lower limit). We believe marketing education and community should be accessible to everyone. (Our annual conference is a ticketed event, but everything else on this page is free or low cost.)
What actually happens at a Marketing Meetup event?
That depends on the event, but typically you can expect:
-
A practical talk or discussion led by an experienced marketer
-
Time to ask questions or take part (if you want to)
-
Optional, low-pressure networking — no forced icebreakers
Online events are interactive and relaxed – often featuring a talk from one of the world’s best marketing speakers.
In-person events are friendly and informal, with plenty of space to just listen if that’s your preference.
I’m introverted / nervous about networking - is this for me?
Very much so. The Marketing Meetup was built specifically to avoid awkward, salesy networking. There’s no pressure to “work the room”, no pitching, and no expectation to talk to everyone. Many people come alone – and most leave having had at least one genuinely good conversation.
What’s the difference between online and in-person events?
-
Online events are usually webinars or live discussions you can join from anywhere. We tend to say these work best for education.
-
In-person events (TMM IRL) are local meetups in cities and towns, usually featuring a short talk and relaxed networking. We tend to focus on connection, here.
Both follow the same principles: practical learning, friendly people, and a welcoming atmosphere.
Can I come on my own?
Absolutely. Most people do. You won’t be the odd one out, and organisers are always happy to help you feel settled if you want a nudge.
Do I have to turn my camera on or speak at online events?
Nope. Our webinars are ‘off camera’ although the chat feature is always buzzing! Watching, listening, and learning is perfectly fine.
What kind of topics do events cover?
Our events cover a wide range of marketing topics, including but not limited to:
-
Content and social media
-
Brand and strategy
-
SEO and performance marketing
-
AI and emerging tools
-
Career development and confidence
We focus on practical insight rather than hype.
How do I sign up for an event?
Just find an event you’re interested in and click the Sign up button. Registration takes a minute, and you’ll get all the details by email.
What if I can’t attend live?
For many online events, we share recordings afterwards. If recordings are available, you’ll usually receive them by email after the session.
Is this a sales event or pitch-fest?
No. We don’t allow sales pitches from speakers or attendees. Events are about learning, sharing, and connecting – not being sold to.
How do I find events near me?
Use the filters above to find in-person events by location, or join your local Marketing Meetup chapter to get notified when new events are announced in your area.
Still got a question?
If you’re unsure about anything, you’re always welcome to get in touch – or just come along and see what it’s like. You’ll be very welcome.
“If any of you haven’t engaged with The Marketing Meetup yet, now’s your chance. And believe me, you do not want to be left out.”
