The Manchester Marketing Meetup is an informal, friendly place for the marketers of Manchester to meet, learn, and share knowledge with one another. Come in 'listen' not 'sell' mode 🙂
We'll be back at Circle Square for this community event, to get together, say hello, have a chat, and have a nice time. Please look out for TMM signs on the night, which will point you to the right entrance for the venue! 🙂
Think of this as a community event, where the focus is very much on you meeting other people in a chilled out friendly space. We’ll chat over food and drink, listen to an inspirational speaker or two, chat some more, and go home buzzing with new contacts and new ideas.
Let’s have a lovely night in the company of some amazin’ people.
Speaker: Kerry Curtis, Brand Development Director for Total Fitness
Topic: From Goth to the Boardroom - how being an outsider helped the journey
Sector experience isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
An ex-goth, 15 a day smoker, and a tendency to use every excuse in the book to avoid the dreaded P.E lesson at school, Kerry now heads up the Brand Team and sits on the board for leading health club brand Total Fitness. With previous experience at Radisson Hotel Group and Manchester Airports Group, Kerry will reveal her top tips on how to take an outsider mindset for business and career success.
The format of the night:
6.00 PM - Doors Open - Drinks, Networking, and smiles
6.30 PM - Introduction and Talks Begin
7.00 PM - Talks Finish, Networking, Listening, Saying Hello, and Positively Lovely People - A nice chilled out time 🙂
7.45 PM - End of the night - you leave with new contacts and fresh ideas

This is a donation ticketed event, with a suggested ticket price of £5-£15.
We of course understand that these are tough times, so if you are experiencing financial hardship and cannot afford the minimum donation amount of £1, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll find a ticket for you (provided capacity hasn't already been reached!) 🙂
Please let your marketing friends and colleagues know about this group too, I hope to build it into a great resource for the community over the coming months and years. Attendance will be taken at this event. If you RSVP 'Yes' and then do not come, you will receive a strike. Three strikes and you're outta here! This is simply a measure to allow appropriate respect to the organisers, speakers, sponsors, and your fellow community members 🙂
See you there!
