The Leeds Marketing Meetup is an informal, friendly place for the marketers of Leeds to meet, learn, and share knowledge with one another. Come in 'listen' not 'sell' mode 🙂

We’re back in the lovely Glean offices for this one. We just want to get together, say hello, have a chat, and have a nice time.

Think of this as a community event, where the focus is very much on you meeting other people in a chilled out friendly space. We’ll chat over food and drink, listen to an inspirational speaker or two, chat some more, and go home buzzing with new contacts and new ideas.

With so much commentary around the latest rebrands from our peers and industry publications, it’s easy to see why the line between a refresh and a rebrand is getting a little blurry.

In this talk, Dan will share his thoughts on:

- Where the misconception of a rebrand stems from
- How understanding brand strategy will help reveal the difference between a refresh and a rebrand
- What each looks like and what’s the impact of getting it right / wrong

Dan Lax is a Brand & Marketing Strategist, and is currently Head of Marketing at The Metal Store. He spent over 10 years working for a Manchester based branding agency where he consulted for businesses such as LadBible, adidas, EY (Ernst & Young) & Tate.
