There are fourteen marketing events in the UK I’d point someone towards in 2027. Seven of them I’ve been to myself. Four come recommended by people whose judgement I trust. Three are on the list because they’re the best answer to my knowledge to the question of ‘what are the best marketing events in the UK happening in 2027’. I’ve marked which is which.

Which marketing events are on in the UK in 2027?

Here’s the calendar. Dates marked confirmed are on the organiser’s own site. Dates marked expected are events that run every year but haven’t announced 2027 yet, so check before you book anything.

A note on that last column. Where an event hasn’t published its 2027 price yet, I’ve put last year’s in and marked it as last year’s,. Most of these announce their new prices after their 2026 edition has run, so I’ll come back through this page in the autumn and swap them over. The date at the top tells you when I last did it.

Two things on that table that other aggregated lists have wrong. Atomicon has moved to Manchester. After seven years in Newcastle, Andrew and Pete have taken it to Manchester Central. And the Nottingham Digital Summit isn’t running in 2027, so if it’s on a list somewhere, that list is out of date.

How did we decide what to put on this list?

Every event on this list will tell you what you’ll learn. Very few of them say anything about how you’ll feel in the room, and after ten years of running events I think that’s the bit that matters most.

We ask people what they thought of ours. Across 1,218 responses to our post-event survey, as at April 2026, 77% score “did you learn something new” at four or five out of five. So learning is fairly easy to deliver. Put a good speaker in front of people and they will learn something.

Confidence is much harder to shift. And when we ask people what they love from our own events, they mostly don’t name a speaker at all. They say things like “relaxed”, “welcoming”, and “no pressure”.

So everything below is judged on the room. What is it like, and will you be alright in it on your own? You can’t get that from the website, and I appreciate some folks go purely for the content and think all this is soft. Fair enough. If that’s you, the agendas are all one click away and you don’t need me.

What if you haven’t got a budget?

Four of these cost nothing, or close to it, and if you’re early in your career or paying out of your own pocket that’s where I’d start rather than at the top of the table.

Our own meetups which happen nationwide run on a donation model – pay what you want. Our listings are here. There’ll probably be one near you.

eCommerce Expo and Technology for Marketing is free to attend although it’s more of an expo than a networking event. BrightonSEO runs a public ballot for free tickets, and plenty of people get in that way, though you need to enter early. Agency Hackers run some of their London events free if you’re agency-side.

A free ballot ticket at BrightonSEO gets you into the same room as one that cost £580. Worth knowing before you decide you can’t afford any of this.

The ones I’ve been to

The Marketing Meetup Conference

The Marketing Meetup Conference runs on 18 March 2027 at Westminster in London, with tickets at £349, £379, and £479 depending on when you buy them. It’s a single-day, single-track conference for around 400 marketers.

We built it for people who find conferences a bit much. One room, one track, so you never have to stand in a corridor working out which talk you’re missing. Nobody sells from stage. And we spend an unreasonable amount of time on the bits that aren’t the talks, because that’s where the useful stuff happens.

Not for you if you want a big-name speaker wall, a huge expo floor, or twelve tracks to choose between. We’re small(ish) on purpose, and that won’t suit everyone.

For you if you’d rather leave with a couple of conversations you remember than a pocket full of business cards.

The real cost: the ticket, plus getting to Westminster. If you’re coming from outside London, add the train and possibly a night – although we do start later to give you more time to get into the city.

BrightonSEO

BrightonSEO is the UK’s largest search marketing conference, held twice a year at the Brighton Centre, with the spring 2027 edition on 15–17 April. Tickets run from free, via a public ballot, up to roughly £360–£580 plus VAT depending on when you book and which pass you take. Those are 2026 prices, so treat them as a guide.

It’s a brilliant event for SEOs, and it has become an institution. What still impresses me is the sheer feat of it: getting that many people from one discipline into one place, twice a year, and doing it well every time.

It’s big, but I’ve never found it intimidating. The free ballot tickets are a real thing, and they change who’s in the room for the better.

Not for you if you’re a generalist brand marketer. Plenty of it will go over your head, and that’s not a criticism of BrightonSEO, it’s just what the event is for.

For you if you do search in any form, or you manage someone who does.

The real cost: even on a free ballot ticket, budget for the train and a night in Brighton.

Festival of Marketing

Festival of Marketing is a one-day conference in London for senior marketers, run by Haymarket following its acquisition of Marketing Week. The 2027 date has not been announced at the time of writing. It has historically run in October.

It has been a great event, with big names from big brands, and it’s still the closest thing the UK has to a general marketing conference with real editorial weight behind it.

It also feels like it’s in a transitional patch. For a long time I’d have said Mark Ritson was its biggest single draw, and it’s now working out what it is after that. I’d say that’s interesting rather than worrying!

Not for you if you’re early career. It’s pitched upwards, and at £799 last year you’d get more for your money somewhere else.

For you if you’re the most senior marketer in your business and need a day among peers.

eCommerce Expo and Technology for Marketing

eCommerce Expo and Technology for Marketing are two co-located trade shows at ExCeL London, free to attend, usually running together in September. They’re exhibition halls that happen to have a speaker programme running alongside. Worth knowing before you go.

I’ve wandered round it more than once and always found it worth the morning. If you’re at the stage of working out which tools exist and who’s selling what, you can cover in a morning what would otherwise take weeks of demo calls.

The only thing I’d add is that it’s a different species from everything else on this list. It’s very big, and this sort of thing isn’t really my scene. It’d be weird to walk up to someone and introduce yourself here, which is a shame.

Not for you if you’re going to learn something. That’s what the conferences are for.

For you if you’re going to buy, or you’re building a shortlist. Go in knowing it’s a buying trip and it’s excellent.

The real cost: the ticket is free, so it’s just travel and a day of your time.

MAD//Fest London

MAD//Fest London runs 6–8 July 2027 at the Old Truman Brewery, and is a three-day, invite-led marketing festival with a brand-side audience. Think big names, DJs, parties, and evening entertainment alongside the talks.

MAD//Fest is the boldest thing in the UK marketing calendar. If what you want is a festival rather than a conference, nobody in Britain does it at this scale, and plenty of folks I know come back buzzing.

For me, it isn’t the one. It’s brand-side, and it’s busy, and I tend to want a room where I can finish a conversation.

One practical note, and this isn’t a complaint so much as something to factor in: I travelled down to London for it and didn’t get in despite having a ticket. So if you’re coming any distance, check what your ticket guarantees before you book the train.

Not for you if you want a quiet room and a proper chat.

For you if you want scale, energy, and the biggest names on a UK stage.

PI Live Europe

PI Live Europe is a partnerships and affiliate marketing event held in London, expected in October 2027. It’s a big commercial gathering more than it is a place to go and learn.

People who work in partnerships speak well of it, consistently.

For you if affiliate or partnership marketing is your actual job.

The ones I haven’t been to, but would still point you at

These are recommendations built on somebody else’s experience, and I’ve named whose.

Atomicon

Atomicon takes place on 2 July 2027 at Manchester Central, having moved from Newcastle after seven years, and is run by Andrew and Pete. It’s built for freelancers, small business owners, and marketers working without a big team behind them.

I haven’t been. Our team have, and they rate it.

It’s a fantastic home for people who don’t have a marketing department to hide in, which is a bigger slice of this industry than the conference circuit usually admits. The move to Manchester is a big deal for them, and knowing Andrew and Pete a little, I’d bet a lot of thought went into it.

For you if you’re a team of one, a freelancer, or running marketing for a small business.

SocialDay

SocialDay runs 18–19 May 2027 at Protein Studios in Shoreditch, London, with 2026 tickets at £490 for one day and £750 for two, excluding VAT. It’s a social media marketing festival for around 650 people, founded by Lucy Hall.

James and Sarah from our team have both been, and both enjoyed it.

Lucy, the owner, is one of those people who cares more about her subject than is strictly reasonable, which is exactly what you want from someone running an event about it. The venue is an unusual choice and a good one, and it does a lot to set the tone.

For you if social is your discipline rather than one of nine things on your list.

Agency Hackers

Agency Hackers runs a series of one-day events for agency owners and leaders in London through 2027: 28 January, 11 March, 15 April, 13 May, 10 June, and 14 October. Each has its own theme, from new business to operations to AI. It’s run by Ian Harris.

I haven’t been to one. People I’ve met who have describe them the same way, which is usually a good sign.

Ian is one of the most inventive event organisers in the country, and he’s always trying to push the standard of his own work. What comes back is that a lot of thought goes into every one of them.

For you if you run an agency, or you’re senior in one.

Not for you if you’re in-house. These are built for a specific room and they don’t pretend otherwise.

Turing Fest

Turing Fest is a two-day event in Edinburgh at the EICC, expected in September 2027, covering product, growth, and company building for tech businesses. It caps its room deliberately rather than chasing attendance.

I haven’t been, and I can’t now remember who first told me to go. But it’s been recommended to me more than once by people whose judgement I trust, and the capped-room thing suggests they’re thinking about the right problem.

For you if you’re marketing in a tech or SaaS business, especially in Scotland or the north.

Paradigms by Frontify

Paradigms is Frontify’s own invitation-led event for brand and creative leaders, held in varying locations. The 2027 details have not been announced.

Right, a disclosure first, because this is the one it matters for: Frontify are a sponsor of ours. But, that doesn’t change this recommendation – genuinely.

Paradigms is the most premium event I’ve come across in this industry. They hold it in interesting places and the team running it are, for my money, among the best events people working anywhere in marketing. It’s absolutely fantastic, and I’d say so if they’d never sent us a penny.

For you if you work in brand or creative leadership and can get an invitation.

The ones nobody here has been to

No first-hand view, no borrowed one. They’re here because each is the best answer to a question somebody will reasonably ask.

Advanced Email Conference

The Advanced Email Conference is a one-day event in Manchester on 27 January 2027, run by Global Insight Conferences. It is the only dedicated email marketing conference in the UK calendar.

That’s the entire reason it’s here. If email is your discipline and you want a room full of people who do the same job, this is the room. I can’t tell you what it’s like inside it.

B2B Ignite

B2B Ignite runs on 1 July 2027 at Convene Sancroft in London, organised by B2B Marketing. The organisers put it at over 500 senior B2B marketers from more than 200 brands, across four tracks and around 70 speakers.

It’s the flagship of the UK B2B marketing calendar by some distance. 2027 tickets aren’t on sale yet, but there’s a register-interest link on their site.

MAD//Toon

MAD//Toon is a new event for 2027, taking place in Newcastle on 1 April, from the team behind MAD//Fest London. It hasn’t happened before, so nobody has been.

It’s on the list because it’s the most interesting new thing in the UK calendar next year, and because a serious festival brand taking a proper swing outside London is worth paying attention to. Whether it works is an open question. I’d expect the same strengths and the same character as MAD//Fest, at a smaller scale.

So which one should you go to?

If you can only do one, pick on the room rather than the line-up. The agenda is the easy bit to find out about. Who’ll be standing next to you is much harder, and that’s most of what I’ve tried to describe above.

Then it’s the practical questions: what do you do, who do you need in the room, how far can you travel, and what will your boss sign off. And check the date is confirmed rather than expected, because half this calendar is still provisional in September 2026.

If you’re nervous about going to any of them on your own, that’s not a reason not to go. It’s the single most common thing people tell us after an event. Most of the room came in feeling roughly the same way. They just don’t say.

Good luck. I hope some of it’s useful.

If you’ll allow it, one plug. We run meetups across the UK on a pay-what-you-like basis, most weeks, in about thirty locations. Which is lovely. If you’d like to test the water somewhere small before committing several hundred pounds to anything, that’s what they’re for, and there’s no catch and nobody will sell you anything.

And if you decide you do want a full day of it, our conference is on 18 March.

A quick word about who’s writing this

I run The Marketing Meetup, and our own conference is on this list. You should factor that in.

I’ve put us first because this page brings a lot of people to us for the first time and it would be strange to pretend otherwise. Saying so feels fairer than taking the top slot and keeping quiet about it.

This page changes as the 2027 dates and prices land. If you’d rather not keep checking, the newsletter goes out a few times a week with what’s coming up, and I’ll flag it there when this gets its autumn refresh.
